  1. Wiring is horrible. After 2yrs into ownership I found 10 spots worn all the way though the insulation on the wires that were run through the axle tubes. So while basically re-wiring the trailer brakes I found the brakes on the left side of my 8.5×24 car hauler were never hooked up from the factory. The magnets are hooked to power…but the ground wire for each of the two left side magnets hangs there with the insulation still on them. Emails not returned but did receive a phone call from Jim stating that’s how it’s suppose to be. BS. It’s Mickey Mouse stuff to know an electro magnet takes a positive and ground. The warranty is worthless. They say 3yrs but never say what’s covered for 3yrs just what’s not covered. So basically it’s a 12mo warranty. Customer service is horrible, build quality is horrible, the quality control is non-existent. STAY AWAY!

  2. I agree totally. Worst trailer I have owned.Door skin flew off flimsy side door and found that it was screwed into styrofoam Stay away

I bought a covered wagon trailer 8 months ago. It has the 5200 pound axels give me the indication that it was a heavyduty trailer. Apparently not so!! I am a concrete contractor and I haul appropriately 2500 lbs the trail has never had more that that weight in it The issue is the siding has started busting and they will not cover it under warranty due to it being over weight according to my pictures I sent them. I guess they weighed the photo. This is a joke. Don’t buy covered wagon products they don’t stand behind what they sell!!

    + PROS: Looked nice
    - CONS: Everything else
